Automated Misting Systems

So you think a timer should go the way of the dinosaurs? OR would you like to be able to control your mist system with your ANDROID OR IPHONE?! We do too! So Mist and More has integrated Z-Wave technology with our mist systems to bring you the first truly automated mist systems! Give us a call today 855-MIST-MORE for a free consultation or email us. You can also check out the Android App or iOS App.

The reservoir, control unit and pump is connected to a network of high pressure ruby nozzles. Normally a heavy duty timer triggers either a cooling mist or a Pyrethrin solution to ward off mosquitoes. But with Mist and More's new design, you can easily schedule the most convenient times for the system to turn on & off, and you can trigger it at any time with ease from your very own smartphone!

Use the Magic of Flash Evaporation to Stay Cool

Running through the sprinklers might be a fun way to cool off, but it involves getting soaked with water. A misting system will cool you off without getting you wet!

If you live in an area that has high summer temperatures but generally low levels of humidity, a misting system is a great addition to your outdoor spaces! Misting systems are used everywhere from rabbit farms to theme parks, and require very little materials and a very small amount of water to work effectively.

How do misting systems work? Water is forced through small diameter pipes or hoses to tiny nozzles which release the water in such a fine mist that it appears almost fog like. The droplets are so small most of them will evaporate before even touching your skin while effectively lowering the temperature around you by 15-20 degrees! Via the magic of flash evaporation! The amount of water required to cool a large residential deck is only a few gallons an hour since the water is being released through such tiny holes. To put that into perspective, you could cool an entire dinner party for as much water as one guest will use flushing a toilet and washing their hands. Simply amazing!

We have a step by step guide to installing a misting system. Our instructions can easily be modified for a variety of spaces and can cover a whole patio or just a few lounging chairs. You can find misting nozzles and anything you need in our online store!
